For Employers

Investments in human capital pay dividends. Increasingly employees are seeking positions in companies with strong corporate culture and robust benefits packages; finding ways to differentiate your organization is essential to attract and retain qualified staff. Now Vermont employers can bring high-quality healthcare to their employees with Garnet. Our mobile clinic offers more flexibility than a permanent onsite health clinic, and without the high overhead cost.

Our services include:

Regular assessment of an individual’s health provides valuable insight into current medical issues and the risk for chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and hypertension. A biometric screening can also be an important point of access to the healthcare system.

Garnet takes a whole-person approach that sets us apart from other vendors that offer biometric screenings. Our screenings include mental health and substance abuse issues, and by offering immediate counseling on our findings, we can point your employees toward the resources they need to manage their mental and physical health.

Bring the doctor’s office to your parking lot. Garnet’s onsite mobile clinic is designed for employers who want the benefits of an onsite clinic, without the overhead expense.

You choose when and how often you need an onsite clinic (we cover all 3 shifts).

Our mobile clinic can also be used for pre-employment physicals!

Increased utilization of primary and preventative care.

Primary care is underutilized for a variety of reasons: access, time, transportation, lack of understanding about benefits. This leads to overutilization of ER, lack of preventive care, and chronic conditions that go unmanaged.

Reduced absenteeism and increased productivity.

By providing episodic care onsite, Health+ can reduce the amount of work an employee misses for illness (which is good for employee and employer). Without the burden of traveling to doctor’s offices or waiting for outside treatment, employees spend less time away from work.

Onsite clinics also help with chronic care management. CDC data shows full-time workers with chronic health problems miss about 450 million more days of work each year than healthy workers, resulting in an estimated cost of more than $153 billion in lost productivity each year.

Cost savings.

Over 85% of healthcare spending can be attributed to chronic disease. Helping employees manage these conditions can drive significant savings. CDC data cites that managing health risks such as weight, blood pressure, glucose, and cholesterol, can produce annual cost savings of >$100 per person.
