Outside of Garnet you can find her running, hiking, momming, or seeing live music.

Lance Woods is an IT professional with over two decades of experience. Lance got his start at IBM and Microsoft before moving on to lead teams and departments at Dr Pepper and in the big energy sector. Prior to joining Garnet, Lance worked as a consultant, senior engineer and vCIO for the last decade.
Dr James is a board-certified Emergency Physician. She attended University of Vermont and received a bachelor’s degree in Zoology and an associate degree in Nursing. She was a RN for 3 years working ICU and cardiology before and during medical school at Tufts University in Boston, MA. She completed her internship and residency in 1996, at University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, where she was Chief resident. During her time at UMMC, she became a Flight physician and thoroughly enjoyed prehospital care. After completing residency, Dr James worked in Brunswick GA, Jacksonville FLA and eventually settled with her family in Essex Vermont. She has been an Attending Emergency Department Physician at University of Vermont Medical Center since 2001. She has been very active in EMS and EMS education throughout the area, having been many squads’ medical director and the district 3 medical director initiating the EKG STEMI protocol for the field. She was the driving force for Paramedicine to be brought to District 3. Dr James taught for 5 years at the Vermont Technical College Paramedicine program. She was both an assistant and primary medical director during the program as well as the lead instructor. She has been Garnet’s Medical Director since 2019, and the Laboratory Director for Garnet testing Center since November 2021. She is married to Jeff Morin, CPA, managing partner at JMM and Associates. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, cooking, baking, and watching her children compete in Collegiate sports.
Throughout my life, I have always had a passion for helping others. My career as a US Army Flight Medic, working in the Emergency Department, and Orthopedics over the past 15 years, has allowed me to help people in their greatest time of need through medicine. Joining Garnet as a Program Manager has allowed me to be creative and passionate while working alongside a great team who all share the same vision.
When he’s not working or at home with his family, Chad is often found in his favorite hobby of playing bass guitar, guitar, and drums with friends & family.
Chuck has been with Garnet for 2 years as the Dispatch Manager, and in EMS for 32 years; certified as an Advanced EMT since 1998. He is Assistant Chief for the Bridgeport Fire Department, as well as volunteering with Townline First Response. Chuck has been happily married to his wife Katie for 25 years, with who he has 3 children. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking and hunting.
